  2. Hike the Parks - Bendix Woods County Park - Nature Center

    Enjoy St. Joseph County Parks this summer on a FREE guided hike every Wednesday in June. Hiking is a great way to get active and reduce stress while exploring what our parks have to offer. We will discover the natural beauty, wildlife, and history at a different park each week. Hikes will last 60-90 minutes. Registration is not required. June 3 - Bendix Woods County Park - Nature Center June 10 - St. Patrick's County Park - Brown Barn June 17 - Spicer Lake Nature Preserve: Visitor Center June 24 - Ferretti/Baugo Creek County Park - Gatehouse

  3. Self-Guided Mystery Trail - Spicer Lake Nature Preserve

    Self-Guided Mystery Trail: Hike a trail and solve a mystery! Visit Spicer Lake Nature Preserve to discover what made the noise in the night that scared Naturalist Ned. Follow the signs from the parking lot to the Old Field Trail. The mystery trail is about half a mile long. At each clue station you'll get a piece of a secret code, so you'll need a way to write down or record numbers. Solve the mystery for a chance to win some Bendix Woods pure maple syrup! May 20-June 20, during park hours (11 am to 8 pm)
