    Spring is the perfect time to get outdoors with kids! Join us for a special morning of activities for children five and under. Experience the wonder of the season as you encounter tadpoles and other small pond creatures! You can also enjoy pond-themed play stations, create a unique craft, hear a spring story and sample a tasty snack. Registration and payment are required by May 17.

  4. Spring Home School Adventure: Paddles from the Past - Ferrettie/Baugo Creek County Park

    Welcome, home school families! Discover a chapter in Indiana's history: the fur trade. Examine furs and trade goods, explore the Voyageur Orienteering course and take a trip on Baugo Creek in a 34-foot-long replica birchbark canoe. Children ten and under must be accompanied in the canoe by an adult or older sibling. No one under 30 lbs may ride in the canoe. everyone who rides in the canoe must pay the $5 fee. Registration and advance payment are required by May 24.

  5. Jump Start Summer with Geocaching - St. Patrick's County Park

    May 30, 2019, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM @ Harvest Room

    Ages 10 & up If you want an exciting new hobby that allows you to combine your love of technology with nature and exploration geocaching is for you! Learn the basics of this fun game and then search for a cache in the park. Bring your GPS and/or smartphone. After the program enjoy a hot dog over the campfire. Registration and payment are required by May 24.
