  1. Home School Winter Adventure

    January 17, 2018, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Astor Room at Baugo Station - Lower Level

    Welcome, home school families! Experience the best of winter at the parks! Race down the snowy hill on an inner-tube, warm up beside a cracking fire at Baugo Station, solve a nature-in winter mystery, and make a souvenir button. Everyone who tubes must pay the $5 fee. Tubing is not recommended for children three years old or younger. Registration and payment are required by January 12.

  2. Boomers and Beyond: Cross Country Ski Club

    January 17, 2018, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ St. Patrick’s County Park

    Celebrate winter with fun, fitness and friendship, skiing the wintry trails with other Boomers (ages 50+). Relax afterwards in the warming room with a hot beverage. Fee includes rental equipment and trail passes. Registration and payment are required by January 12. Dates of Ski Club every Wednesday from January 17 thru March 7. Weather permitting.

    Fun for families with preschoolers, snow tubing is a perfect way to spend a snowy afternoon together. Leave the older kids at home-this one is just for the little ones! Meet at the Brown Barn.

  4. Click and GO! Cross-Country Skiing Lessons

    January 19, 2018, 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM @ St. Patrick’s County Park

    Is your goal in learning how to ski with those weird sticks strapped on your feet? Receive a mini 30-minute "Click and GO!" lesson on the basics of skiing, then hit the ski trails! Trail conditions permitting. Fee includes ski rental, trail fee and lesson! Meet at the Red Barn. Offered every Fri. Jan. 12-Feb. 23, conditions permitting. Call 574-277-4828 to confirm conditions. No registration needed.

  5. Skiing Under the Stars

    January 19, 2018, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Red Barn

    Enjoy skiing by the light of glowing luminaires on snow-covered trails. At the Manion Cabin enjoy hot chocolate, coffee or water and homemade cookies to revive you for the return journey. Additional ski nights are January 5 & February 2. In the event of no snow, participants can still take pleasure in an evening hike to the Manion Cabin along luminaire-lit trails. No registration needed.

  9. Soup, Salad & Moonlight Snowshoe Hike

    January 27, 2018, 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM @ Bendix Woods County Park

    Ages 12 & up Enjoy a supper of soup and salad in the historic Studebaker Clubhouse, then embark on a moonlit snowshoe hike through the Studebaker Trees down to the sugar house where dessert and a warm crackling fire await to refresh you for the return hike. In the event of no snow, participants can still take pleasure in an evening hike to the sugar house. Registration and payment are required by Jan. 19.
