  1. Super Blood Wolf Moon Eclipse Viewing and Night Hike

    January 20, 2019, 9:30 PM - January 21, 2019, 12:00 AM @ Harvest Room

    Come experience a unique astronomical phenomenon with St. Joseph County Parks; the rare ‘Super Blood Wolf Moon’ Total Lunar Eclipse! The park will open at 9:30 pm and staff will lead a leisurely night hike as we prepare for the lunar eclipse. Those not interested in hiking bring your camp chairs and blankets and sit by the fire. We will have physicists and astronomers from the University of Notre Dame on site with telescopes to explain this spectacular event. Please remember to dress for the weather. Hot cocoa and light refreshments will be provided. This event is weather conditions permitting. Please check our Facebook page for the latest updates.

    Balance, stride and glide! Join other Boomers (ages 50+) and learn cross-country skiing basics while enjoying the winter landscape of St. Patrick's County Park. If there are poor snow conditions, the program will be offered on January 31. Registration and payment are required by January 21.
